Workplace Learning Illawarra (WLI) is a not for profit, incorporated association. Our vision is that the Illawarra region values a high quality technical education afforded through Vocational Education and Training, meeting the future needs of Australia’s economy and the aspirations of individuals as they make their transitions from school to the workforce and beyond, and a region with strong school, business and industry links that invest in the future of young Australians. Our aim is that 13 – 19 year olds in the Illawarra region have access to the best possible range of career advice and workplace learning experiences to ensure they can make informed choices in their transition from school to work or further education and training. Commencing its operation in April 1997, our program has facilitated the provision of structured workplace learning opportunities for students in the Illawarra.
